How I actually price my items at Bagzag (no hidden markups, just fair deals)
As an independent seller, my goal is simple: keep my shop sustainable while giving you a price that actually makes sense. Here’s a peek behind the curtain at how I price everything from MagSafe cases to tempered glass and fast chargers.
1. Sourcing & Hand-Checking Quality
I don’t dropship low-quality junk straight from factory floors. Every phone case, cable, and screen protector in my shop is hand-checked for fit, magnet strength, and durability.
- Manufacturing & Freight: What I pay the supplier per unit, plus the freight to get it to my workspace.
- Hands-on Quality Control: I physically test samples on actual devices to make sure button covers are clicky, cutouts align, and wireless charging actually works.
Packing fragile tempered glass or heavy metal phone stands requires real protection so your order doesn't arrive smashed.
- Materials: Mailers, padded envelopes, protective foam, and shipping labels run about $1.00 to $1.50 per order.
- Fulfillment: My time spent sorting, packing, and making daily runs to the post office so your order gets scanned in fast.
After covering the physical product and packing costs, I add a modest margin—typically $3 to $6 per item, depending on the product.
That small return keeps my shop running and allows me to:
- Reinvest in stocking accessories for new phone launches the moment they drop.
- Offer quick replacements or refunds directly if something ever gets damaged during transit, no hassle required.
No artificially inflated MSRPs, no fake blowout discounts, and no cheap knockoffs disguised as premium gear. Just straight-up honest pricing on gear that actually protects your phone.
